I've covered the spectrum from web development, Unix, PC, networking, to microprocessor real time systems. I've worn the hat as a hard core developer, trainer/teacher, and have worked in various leadership and management positions, and academic appointments.

I can help you in a lead role to drive a software solution to market. This includes product/project management or directing an R&D effort. I have extensive, results driven computing experience with a unique blend of business, management, technical, and academic skills in startups, Fortune 500, and SMB settings. My diverse technical experience spans the software development life cycle with product/project design, hardcore development, training, support, QA, operations, and administration.

• Since April 2008 have consulted with AT&T Labs Chief Security Office developing security systems and tools to monitor and defend the Internet.
• In July 2004 co-founded the Rutgers eLearning project into a startup called Lecture123 which provided a client-server enterprise elearning system and SnapKast our desktop product. Our service and product were in schools across the US.
• In April 2002 took a research position with the Rutgers University Laboratory for Computer Science Research working on an eLearning grant funded by the state of NJ.
• Starting with the fall 2001 semester Adjunct Professor, Drew University, Mathematics and Computer Science.
• First 9 months of 2001 for AT&T Labs performed research/analysis of IP and AS number, POC, and BGP routing data from the three Internet Registries: ARIN, RIPE NCC, and APNIC. Developed tools to acquire weekly snapshots, import data in MySQL normalized schema, query server written in Python. Integrated the server into an IP network management distributed server infrastructure hosted on a Linux cluster. Investigated rate of change and other research metrics. Served as AT&T liaison to these registry organizations; arranged a special research feed of ARIN's data. Attended the ARIN VII annual meeting (placed 4th in the foosball tourney =8^).
• In December 2000 completed a one year engagement at AT&T Labs as part of a small team defining Internet future service concepts for the $2B global venture between AT&T and British Telecom called Concert Technologies.  Focused in the area of Application Hosting and Application Service Providers.
• Completed a multi-year contract in 1Q2000 where I conceived, designed, developed, managed, and webmastered Intranet web services for the Lucent Technologies Wireless business unit development community.

Location
I work on-site with clients within a 30 minute commute of Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922 (near Summit). I've been quite successful in performing consulting services remotely also. So, if telecommuting is an option for you, then your location is not restricted to NJ.
